Invisible--The Film

Let me tell you guys about an amazing new film still in the works, Invisible, which tells the story of people with chronic invisible illnesses. If you think you don't know anyone with a chronic or invisible illness, simply check my "About Me" page and get to know me--someone who suffers from Lupus SLE.

Although this film is still in pre-production and at the money raising phase, the trailer promises an amazing documentary highlighting a very underrepresented population. Megan Densmore, the brainchild of the project, suffers from fibromyalgia (an extremely debilitating condition in which the brain misfires pain signals), yet still maintains an active lifestyle as a fitness coach. Having struggled much of her life with the social consequences of being chronically ill as a young woman, Densmore decided to create this film. You can watch the teaser featuring Densmore herself below:

I know most of my readers do not struggle with chronic illness, however it is an important part of me and something I feel like I should speak out about. One major goal of this film, as well, is the bridge the gap in understanding between those who are healthy and those of us who deal with illnesses on a daily basis.

If you are interested in helping the cause, you can purchase a t-shirt here (in the US only). Take a look at these beauts:

I also encourage you to go to the Facebook page and give them a "like" to keep updated. They are still constantly raising money, so if you want to give them a tax-deductible donation, contact them on their email address

I am really hoping this film resonates with you in some way and you'll consider supporting in any way you can. Every little bit helps!
