Told you there'd be a video this week!

In this video, I show you how the products from the Zoella Beauty line look and how they actually work.

  2. Great video! You explain everything very clearly and were very fair in your comments.

I do like the packaging, the bath fizz bar looks more like a bath oil than a bubble bath though.

I wouldn't buy this range purely because I am too old for it. I also think that all the reviewers who went to the launch would probably ordinarily use more expensive (or at least higher-end) products and this wouldn't be their first choice of product if they weren't friends or colleagues of Zoella's.

I wonder if Zoella actually ever visited the lab and helped to choose the ingredients and give opinions on the scents etc? I do like the smell of laundry detergent, but I'm not sure I'd want it in my beauty products!

    1. Yeah I sort of wondered that as well. I pictured her like Kim Kardashian on that one episode where she goes in to the lab with a lab coat and glasses and is like, "Yum! This smells so good!" Haha. I wonder if that happened to Zoe? Either way, I wouldn't say the products are horrible, they're not just GOOD.

  3. I honestly just didn't like the smell of them either :/ so I didn't get to the point of purchasing them. Thanks for your honesty! I think Zoella's fan base is mostly younger teens so I guess that's why you thought that of the scent! x

    1. Yeah, the smell to me was just so juvenile. But I did smell someone wearing her perfume in London. haha.

  4. I hope you feel better. Bromelain is great for inflammation associated with surgery. The blah blah annotation was cute.

    1. Thank you for the tip! I just saw this now, unfortunately. Dammit. :(

  5. I saw these at Superdrug earlier today but I didn't get close to them because there were too many girls squealing at them and it was a bit too much for me to deal with. But I appreciate the honest review! I don't like bath stuff very much in the first place, but I really REALLY am horrified to think of all the Lush hauls and "pamper routines" and not ONE mention that you should probably do a quick rinse in the shower after. Your vagina should not have glitter in it! Poor teenaged girls, hopefully they won't have to learn this the hard way.

    1. I KNOW. I am so worried about everyone's vagina! Seriously you guys. Keep glitter out of your hooha. How many baths are these women taking a week with those bombs? Do they have an open order for Canesteen? I am so worried.

I haven't actually seen her products in the stores and I'm not sure why. Where I live is a pretty big shopping destination, so it is kind of weird.
