My Everyday Face Routine

I, like pretty much every other woman on planet earth, have struggled with acne in the past. Being at the age I am now creates a very odd issue where you're both struggling with acne and trying to stave off wrinkles. At the moment, I have a very easy skin care routine I do in the morning and one in the evening that seems to have worked so far and mostly kept acne at bay (except during THAT time of the month, but I think that's an issue for most of us). My skin is medium, it doesn't tend to be excessively oily but is not dry either.

Morning
In the morning, I typically follow this three step routine.

1. Dark Angels by Lush
I rub a bit of this on my face first thing. A little bit goes a very long way. You just have to take it out of the container, wet it and then put it on your face before washing it off. It can get a little bit messy, so it's worth it to use as little as possible.

Available here.

2. Ocean Salt by Lush
I then scrub my face with a little bit of this to exfoliate.

Available here.

3. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit

I then dab a little bit of the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit (Available here) on my "fake Clairisonic," or the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush. Available here.

Skin cleansing brush.
After I get out of the shower, I use the Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion for Sensitive Skin. I typically use a cotton bud to apply. Available here.

Night

My nightly routine is very simple.

I take off my make-up using the Bioderma Crealine H20 Ultra-Mild Non-Rinse Cleanser for Face and Eyes (yes you can remove eye make-up with this). Available here.

I then follow up with another round of the No7 scrubber and Oil-Free Acne Scrub by Neutrogena. After a rinse, I then use the Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion again.
